September 8, 2022 – Wysdom, the world’s leading chatbot management company for enterprise clients, is pleased to announce that it has appointed Heather Black as Vice President, Marketing, reporting to David Trotter, SVP, Sales & Marketing. Heather will be instrumental in building a high-performing marketing team, launching a demand and brand strategy, and driving top-of-funnel for new customer acquisition. This appointment is a key role, and aims to strengthen Wysdom’s management team, as the company prepares for rapid growth.
“With 25 years of experience in marketing and communications, Heather brings exceptional leadership, knowledge, and process-driven mindset to our expansion plans,” says David Trotter, SVP, Sales & Marketing. “Moreover, as digital marketing has become an essential driver to demand and lead gen, she will contribute hands-on know-how to expand this strategy in collaboration with the product and sales teams.
“I’m delighted to join Wysdom,” explains Heather. “This is a company that I’ve been following closely for some time, given the innovative AI technology, strong business model, and solid customer base. The conversational AI space is evolving rapidly and I am excited to work with the team to cement our messaging, build awareness, and drive top-of-funnel demand for our products”.
Prior to joining Wysdom, Heather Black worked at Stradigi AI, where she led all aspects of marketing strategy, building a vibrant brand, along with repeatable and scalable demand & lead generation in key markets. She also brings experience from her role as Director of Marketing, Project & IT Management at Upland Software, Inc. (NASDAQ: UPLD).
“The chatbot market is exploding,” says Ian Collins, founder and CEO of Wysdom. “Industry analysts estimate customer service engagement via chatbots will grow from 1.6% of all interactions to almost 10% over the next 5 years. What many companies are coming to realize is that once a chatbot is deployed, they need analytics and expertise to continue to nurture the quality of their bot performance. Wysdom is uniquely poised to help those companies get the right insights, via the Wysdom Operations Center, with information that helps them not only monitor performance but also know what actions they can take to improve. We are delighted to have Heather join us to help articulate our messaging and educate our audience about the value that we bring to their business.”
